Dangerous Goods (IMDG/DGD)

Dangerous goods are divided into nine main classes and have to be marked with special graphics. The classes have several subcategories on the basis of the special characteristics producing the risk.

The transportation of dangerous goods is controlled and governed by a variety of different regulatory schemes, operating at both the national and international levels. Prominent regulatory frameworks for the transportation of dangerous goods include the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, IATA’s Dangerous Goods Regulations and the IMO’s International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. Collectively, these regulations mandate the means by which dangerous goods are to be handled, packaged, labelled and transported.

We require your Dangerous Goods Declaration in order to be able to organize the transport and will check all handling and shipping possibilities for you.
